Cheap Earbuds & Presets
My first album, made with a pair of Dollarama earbuds over about 4 weeks. It's a good album for the earbuds and time frame I had to make it.
'Waiting' was made while I... waited in the airport terminal. The drum machine bongo loop is basically 'Wait' at home.
'Different Trains' has two parts. The first part (0:00-2:30) uses a paulstretched sample of a Vancouver Skytrain leaving YVR Airport, and the second part (2:30-4:29) uses a recording from riding the Sukhumvit Line in Bangkok. The working title for this was 'Automated Trains,' but after I learned that the BTS Skytrain was not automated I changed it to its current title. I'm going to wait until I have footage of more trains to make a video for it like I did for 'Fly By.'
'Decrepit Infrastructure and Busy Roads' is another two part song. The first part, Decrepit Infrastructure (0:00-2:56), is partially inspired by Thirteen with the use of metallic synth presets I discovered while snooping around. The second part, Busy Roads (2:56-4:23), is a nice silly addition to the track over a field recording.
'Floating Along the Chao Phraya' was made by adding layers over a field recording I took while on a ferry to Asiatique: The Waterfront.
Tracks 8-14 are the daily tracks I uploaded onto Soundcloud from July 2nd-8th. You can also find the daily tracks here.
Tracks 13-16 reference the track's time signature. 'Lucky Seven' - 7/4, 'Put it in 8' - 8/4 (basically 2 bars of 4/4,) 'Something in 9' - 9/8, 'Afraid of 7' - 6/8 (Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7, 8, 9.)
'Pads' is a drone piece made of miscellaneous pad presets that I put into a long drone piece.
'Fly By' is the bonus track of the album, although I released it as a single 6 days before the album's release. This track also has a video which you can watch here.
what was i looking for again
A long ambient track, made in Audacity instead of LMMS, inspired by Rooms Without Doors. I loved messing with audacity's audio processing effects to turn the recordings I used into this weird noise piece. I made a visualizer for this track which you can watch here. Oh, and 'Not as it Seems,' another noise piece, is older despite this one being released first.
Dream Machine EP
The idea for this EP came about when I was watching The Matrix with my film class.
'Matrixed Thoughts' directly references this with its title.
'Not as it Seems' is a noise piece I made in LMMS. I think the oddness of the song combined with the title gives it a bit of an ominous feel.

Summer Break (Library Jam)
A demo of a track I'm planning to put on Class of 2026. If Class of 2026 doesn't work out then it'll just go onto a misc album. Made in about 2 hours, give or take, at a public library.
